“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” (Mignon McLaughlin)
Wedding planning is often a time-consuming task, and one requiring a significant amount of energy and devotion over a period of time–much like your marriage. Your lifelong union will require your attention and dedication for days, months, and years to come. And over that time, with your deliberate investment, you will watch your romance grow into a depth scarcely imaginable. You will celebrate together: job promotions, birthdays, pregnancies, and more. You will mourn together as you say goodbye to dreams and loved ones. But together, you will weather it all–some days with laughter and others with tears. There will be no other that you will have shared as many moments with, and no other who will have steadfastly loved you in those good times and bad, in your sickness and in health, and in your wealth and loss. So, as you carefully tend to the planning of your wedding day, may it be, too, that you do so tending to what is to follow–the life you will share as husband and wife.
At My Oregon Photographer, we would be honored to document the beginning of it all.
