One Size Does Not Fit All

When planning your wedding, it’s important to keep in mind that there are many options for everything; the dress, cake, venue, decor, etc.  The list is endless.  Sometimes it’s overwhelming!   I blame Pinterest.  Ha!  While trends are…well…trendy, it’s so important to remember what you want your day to look & feel like.  Do you get anxiety at the thought of 300 guests?  No problem!  Plan a smaller event (maybe even an elopement!) that fits your personality.  Don’t let every relative and co-worker talk you into doing something you don’t want to do just because they saw it in a magazine or Pinterest board.  Your wedding day should be something you look back on with happy memories.  Do you hate big princess dresses?  Or any formal wedding dress for that matter?  Go for a simple sundress, like this bride here.  Her wedding was a tiny elopement at King Estate Winery outside Eugene this past summer.

My own wedding was gorgeous and I loved it.  However, if I could go back in time, I would have listened more to my heart and less to the trends and pressures of the time.  This was all before Pinterest overload too!  In the end, your wedding is just that; it’s yours.  One size does not fit all when it comes to your wedding day.  Make it your own and above all…enjoy this special day.
